07 Mar Monk’s Road Tasting
Join us this Wednesday March 9, 2022 from 4pm to 7pm as we sample Monk’s Road Bourbon and Gins from Log Still Distillery.
In the spirit of traditions, it is here along the rutted country lane to the old homeplace, where the Dant family now forges a new road at Log Still Distillery. To christen the journey, allow us to introduce Monk’s Road. The first offering of Bourbons and Gins that embody a true reflection of our most sacred values: faith, family, and community.
The Monk’s Road story began when the Dant family forefather hollowed out a poplar log and engineered a makeshift still. Since those days in the early 1800s, Kentucky bourbon has flowed freely, and generously, through the Dant family’s veins.
Seven continuous generations later, they are forging a new road at the old Kentucky home. Spearheaded by J.W. “Wally” Dant and cousins Lynne and Charles Dant, Log Still Distillery aims to combine the age-old craftsmanship of distilling with the camaraderie and spirit of a family-owned business.
And because family is at the heart of what they create, they view every bottle as a nod of respect to those past Dant distillers. Log Still Distillery and Monk’s Road Bourbon and Gins are the Dants’ tribute to their fathers and forefathers, and their significant contributions to the history of bourbon itself.
